If you’re a member of the HAC and haven’t tried Gravity yet, THE TIME IS NOW! All you have to give is 45 minutes of your day to get the most efficient, full-body workout that will leaving you feeling stronger than ever. Don’t believe me? I tried it for myself and talked to some “regulars” and this is what I learned (and they had to say).

Gravity (GTS) uses a pulley system that uses a portion of your body weight as resistance for a full-body workout. Jewel Kessler, Gravity Director said “The workout is done in 45 minute sessions. The HAC is the only location in the tri-state region that offers Gravity in a small group setting. The group setting offers camaraderie, friendly competition and support.”

Not sure if Gravity is for you? Everyone can benefit from this class from beginners to advanced athletes. There are 8 levels of resistance that uses 5% (Level 1) all the way up to 60% (Level 8) of your total body weight. This way, you can start off at at a comfortable level and challenge yourself to advance as you become more conditioned. Not only that, it’s a perfect switch up in your workout routine when you feel like you’ve hit a plateau because of the unique nature of the pulley system.

Still not convinced? This is what you can expect after doing just a few classes of Gravity.

  • Improved Posture
  • Improving Joint Range of Motion
  • Improved Balance & Coordination
  • Overall Increased Strength and Endurance

Hear it from the participants themselves. The Gravity (GTS) program at the HAC has been known to be a main factor in total body transformation for individuals.

“I go to gravity because it keeps me motivated and coming back for more.”

“I love her classes, I always tell people, they’re awesomely terrible because by the end I’m dying, but I feel so awesome. Her classes have made such an enormous difference in my overall fitness, it’s ridiculous”

– Ryan

“So, I started a little over a year ago, and it’s the best thing I ever did. I’ve tried everything. This has actually transformed my body. I’m stronger than I’ve ever been. I’m 57 years old and I’m doing 5ks, and we’re going to do a mud run. I got my daughter started with Gravity and she can tell you her story!”

-Louise

“I just started. I run marathons and Gravity is harder than that. I actually needed to learn how to eat better for this class so I didn’t pass out. I was able to do a pull up after I started Gravity, which I wasn’t able to do before.”

– Stephanie
